Good stuff!
An overwhelmed Cajun, transplanted to a land far distant from the comforts of South Louisiana, food, beer, and bilingual people who don't speak Spanish. How do I do it? I make fun of a lot of people...I mean a lot.
What an amazing event, I love it!

Once again, I call my fellow Americans to reject bigotry and hate. Just let people live and love, your conscience will be happier for it. I can't say it better than K.O.:
I don't normally get that into Sarah Silverman, but this is hilarious and useful. If she was somewhat serious sometimes I think it'd help me.
Here's the original video from The Great Schlep:

I love that this election has managed to make Letterman relevant again.
In addition to Stewart, Colbert, and Olbermann; I now need to include Craig Ferguson. Isn't it funny how naturalized citizens of this country always seem to have more of a grasp on current affairs than natural born ones? (Schwarzenegger not included, I still think he's got a screw loose)
Um, has anyone else finally gotten tired of hearing this load of drivel. Everyone keeps bringing up the Main Stream Media's love affair with Obama, yet McCain gets a free ride on a consistent basis. I just feel like if this is going to be the accusation by Republicans, then it should be at least accurate. Of course, this would be a serious departure from any strategy they've engaged in since 1988, so I'll just keep dreaming.
By the way, here's your proof:
Study some geography! Iraq and Pakistan don't share a border...unless you count Iran!
Don't worry, there's more. Apparently, our GOP candidate had another senior moment when describing how his oh so beloved "surge" went down and saved Iraq. In all actuality, the Anbar Awakening began in September 2006 and ran until the "surge" finally got there. The Anbar Awakening was all but over by the time the Bush/McCain/Leibermann "surge" finally got there. It was unneccesarry then, and its unneccessary now. Strangely enough, the MSM "liberal" media didn't air this answer, the transcripts don't match the video. But the video's online, and on K.O.'s excellent as usual show. Thanks Olbermann!
Needless to say, I'm sick of Republicans and everyone else holding up this supposed bias. If you really don't know if there's a bias, watch the news, then watch the Daily Show with John Stewart or check the Huffington Post, MoveOn.org, or MediaMatters.org. The only way to fight tyranny in this day and age without violence is to educate yourself.
So apparently Geraldine Ferraro is not only unrepentant about claiming that Obama only does so well because he is black, then went on the back on the attack claiming Obama's campaign is attacking her because she is white, but to top it all off, she has made similar claims/smears against opponents in the past. Finally, she steps down from Hillary campaign this afternoon.
In additional news, there is a new phenomenon known as the "Limbaugh Effect". Apparently, his rotundness, in his oxycontin induced wisdom, has instructed his sheep to drop their Republican registration in remaining Primaries, and vote for Hillary. Apparently, Hillary is a preferable opponent for McCain over Obama.
You may ask yourself how these two items could be related? Somewhat significantly actually, anyone who is a fan of the NFL remembers Limbaugh's (unfortunate?) tryst into the sports world. It, of course, ended in Limbaugh resigning for racist comments he made about Donovan McNabb, quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles. Ferraro is basically saying the same things about Obama. Let's compare the statements side by side:
"If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position. And if he was a woman (of any color) he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept." --Geraldine Ferraro, 3/10/08
"I don't think he's been that good from the get-go. I think what we've had here is a little social concern in the NFL. I think the media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well. They're interested in black coaches and black quarterbacks doing well. I think there's a little hope invested in McNabb and he got a lot of credit for the performance of his team that he really didn't deserve. The defense carried this team." --Rush Limbaugh, 9/28/03
